MANASIK HAJI....HAJJ  PRACTICE...for CHILDREN

Just like a seed grown healthy, if watering regularly, nurture to maintenance from wild grass around the field will grow as we expected. Even the climate changes, wind blowing, rain and thunder, if its root deep enough, no matter what, will be happy at the end of the season.

I noticed once last Tuesday, November 15, 2011 a group of Kindergarten students, English Speaking Moslem school in East Jakarta, practiced the Hajj pilgrim similar with grown people done the actual pilgrim in Saudi Arabian, yearly basis. This practice included in a Curricula for Kindergarten schools in Jakarta. done after Idul Adha celebration on November 6, 2011

The instructor keep humming in Arab praying, following by students in white robes in quite hot climate in November rainy season made them sweating. The teachers and a principal very busy to keep them always in order in line form. Amazingly all students obeyed what the instructor, a man and the teachers (all  Muslimat) had to say.

Students entered two tiny camps in front of schools, look like as they entered the camps in Saudia Arabian country, Makkah and Madinah, group by group before form a line out of school yard forward to a Mosque nearby through a street' just 100 meters away, fenced by a white ropes and all teachers and security men at late morning at 10 am.

Before entered Suhada Mosque, students one by one throw stones in to 3 places in separated places in second floor of the Mosque before step up stairs entered a Mosque door to practiced Sholat praying under instructor  and teachers guidance. So far run smooth and success without any principle problems until back to the school for lunch in a box.

A Hajj pilgrim is a 5th principles for  the Moslem, one obligation beside the other 4 as long as they afford to pay the costs as Government decided yearly basis. The students of  this Kindergarten belong to the have one recently, at least the parents taught their children, that when they  grown up their heart long would fly to joint the Hajj pilgrim

I remembered in Februari 8, 2010 in this Blog I posted a special poem in Bahasa Indonesia title Panggilan Suci or Holy Calling :

PANGGILAN SUCI

Oleh Pinondang Situmeang

Suara azan mengalun syahdu menusuk kalbu

Memanggil, bersujud kepada Illahi
Tak alpha lima waktu jika jam berdentang

Di surau di sebelah kolam
Sejak usia dini

Dasar yang kokoh dibangun diatas ayat ayat

Tauladan, aturan ketat dan aneka nasehat

Yang tak akan goyah oleh badai ajaran sesat

Tak akan lapuk oleh cuaca sepanjang abad

Jalan kehidupan memang berliku dan panjang

Sambil berdendang sepanjang jalan kenangan

Diatas jok empuk dan udara nyaman

Dalam nuansa gaul zaman sekarang

Jika tak awas bisa masuk jurang dan arus jeram

Tenggelam.

Syukur panggilan Kha'bah dari Mekkah, Madinah

dan padang Arafah mengumandang

Dalam mimpi mimpi, kapankah jadi kenyataan

Alhamdulillah, Allah memberi barokah dan jalan

Tabungan disisihkan memenuhi panggilan

Insya Allah tahun menjelang bersama muhrim akan terbang

Tunaikan rukun ke lima jauh keseberang lautan

Allahu Akhbar, Allahhu Akhbar
kami segera datang
